When you purchase, you'll receive one square trivet/placemat/mug mat. You can call this whatever you want, but it has so many uses. This particular one is roughly 7" square, with coordinating fabrics.
The front and back of the trivets are in the same position in images one and two.
Do note, this particular item does NOT have a heat resistant fabric, but just has many layers of cotton fabrics. This is not meant to be used as a potholder or oven mitt, but rather as a trivet to put a dish on to protect a surface below, a mat for perhaps a tub of ice cream to protect a surface, or a mat to prevent an object set upon it from rolling off a surface. It is truly a multi-functional pretty and practical accessory perfect for a housewarming gift, part of a wedding or shower gift, or for yourself!
Construction is homespun cotton inside, 100% cotton quilt quality fabrics outside, 100% cotton fabric inside; you won't see this unless you peek through the interlocking four front fabrics.
