| | Hoffman Bali Hand-dyed Watercolors (Style #1895) These original Hoffman designs are produced by hand on the lush tropical island of Bali. The fabric is either painted by hand with dye, batiked, or created with a combination of these processes. Some designs have as many as five different techniques used to create the finished piece. |

| Hoffman Challenge 2008 Every year, a team from Hoffman Fabrics chooses an upcoming fabric design, and then issues a challenge to quilt, clothing, accessory, and doll makers to create original items using the fabric. The challenge curator and a group of assistants jury the entries, and then a team of judges selects the award winners.
