Pat on the Back Customer Internet Privacy Statement

Protecting consumer privacy is important to Pat. We hope the following statement will help you understand how Pat on the Back collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you provide to us on our site

I. Information collected online
Pat only collects information consumers have voluntarily provided. This includes consumers' email addresses. Cookies are used by the shopping cart software to remember what consumers have put in their baskets. That's it!  These are used so that the consumer need not reenter all products into a basket should a consumer prefer to shop at a more convenient time.

II. How information Pat collects is used or shared
Pat collects information only to complete a transaction. Personal information (such as name, address, survey responses and e-mail addresses) collected is only used to further market Pat's products by Pat herself. Personal information (name and address only) has only been disclosed to a third party in the following example.  Example: Postcards are sent by show promoters as a convenience to Pat at fairs that Pat personally attends. Pat prefers to keep her wonderful customers to herself! The only other use that Pat makes of the information is to contact consumers should their email no longer be valid.

III. Choices available to consumers regarding the marketing uses of the collected information
An easy mechanism is provided for consumers to opt out of having personal information Pat collects used for marketing. Simply send Pat an email using the "Contact Pat" button above, to confirm that Pat has received your opt out choice, to review the choices you have made, or to make changes to the choices indicated. Opt out will take approximately 24 hours. Please put a subject in the subject line.  Emails without subjects are assumed to be spam, and automatically deleted.

IV. How Pat handles consumer inquiries about their information or her privacy policy
Click the Contact Pat button above for her email. For her own privacy, and due to SPAM and telemarketing, Pat's phone and fax numbers are not listed on the site, but are voluntarily given when you make a request. This is primarily to keep automated web search programs from sending spam to Pat. Pat respects your privacy for the same reasons. Add an item to your basket and Pat's email and direct line will appear.

V. How Pat protects online information
Pat's site uses the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 512 bit exchange) protocol that encrypts personal information being transferred over the Internet.
